Chimera
Located in the Brady Arts District in downtown Tulsa, Chimera restaurant is a charming place to grab a great cup of coffee and a delicious, and nutritious, plant-based meal! Established in 2012 this spot is known for its gourmet approach to coffee, cocktails, and good-for-you-yet-enjoyable food. I would describe it as a ‘meat on the side’ approach to plant-based, vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
Their menu offers breakfast all day, which in my book is a huge plus. They have a range of food from tacos, sandwiches, and salads to burgers and wraps. A great aspect of Chimera is its commitment to sustainably sourced local food and even some local coffee. They offer Oklahoma City’s own Elemental coffee.
The prices are affordable and the coffee shop is quaint. They now offer patio seating, so you can enjoy your specially brewed coffee in this great neighborhood.

Pure Food and Juice
This place has something for everyone! Owned and operated by plant-based Chef Cynthia Beavers, this place has a little bit of everything. They have smoothies, juices, soups, salads, ramen, lasagna and tacos just to name a few of the items on their extensive plant-based menu.
Pure Food and Juice is committed to not just great vegan food, but good for you food. Located in Center 1, Pure Food and Juice is a great place to grab a juice before or after a session at the nearby Yoga Barre or shopping in one of the many upscale shops in the area.

Can you say Vegan Queso without drooling? I don’t think I can! Elote offers up quality, vegan friendly menu items such as vegan nachos, soups salads, burritos, quesadillas and much more! Located in the Deco district of Tulsa, this restaurant offers up healthy, sustainable Mexican food with an innovative twist.
They are committed to not just vegan and gluten-free food offerings, they also contribute to the environmental impact by sourcing sustainable food and leading their community to environmental changes. Glacier Confections
Did someone say chocolate?! Glacier Confections is a gourmet chocolate shop dedicated to bringing delicious chocolate confections to Tulsa. They have regular and vegan options to choose. You can get vegan versions of peanut butter cups, chocolate bars, chocolate turtles, and even some chocolate truffles!
Vegan’s know it’s hard to find good vegan chocolate so this is a must-stop for vegan chocolate lovers everywhere. Be prepared to pay gourmet prices as a box of vegan truffles is running about $15 for 6 truffles and a bar of chocolate for about $7.

The Vault
Described as classic 1960’s food with a modern twist, this is an absolutely beautiful place to have a meal. They have a multitude of vegetarian items that can be made vegan by request. Such dishes include their Mac and Cheese, Polenta, Pasta, and even Burgers. They even offer private events.
I was lucky enough to attend a pre-wedding banquet here and I can tell you the bar is great, the atmosphere is fun yet relaxing and the patio is gorgeous. Don’t miss out on this place, it’s truly one of the best vegan-friendly restaurants in Tulsa!

Roppongi
This adorable restaurant offers up some delicious Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Just a few of their vegan options include vegan Ramn, Banh Mi, and even street style noodle dishes. The place is small, but they do offer sidewalk seating. They also offer pick up and delivery. The best part? They have vegan boba tea!

Trenchers Delicatessen
A delightful little deli with vegan menu options for breakfast or sandwiches. Everything is made in-house including their bread and baked goods. You can even create your own vegan sandwich! A twist on a traditional deli, they offer specials daily and are open for breakfast and lunch from 10 am – 3 pm.

918 Coffee
I can’t get enough coffee, that’s why 918 Coffee is such a great find! They have specialty fair trade and organic coffee and tea and even offer a vegan milkshake.
Not in the mood for coffee? Try one of their vegan wines! They offer vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner items including some Chick’n and Waffles, Sandwiches, and even a vegan burger. Check them out the next time that caffeine craving hits.

Lone Wolf Banh Mi
What started out as a food truck has grown into two brick-and-mortar locations one right on Route 66! Lone Wolf is known for its incredible Banh Mi ( a Vietnamese-style sandwich), kimchi fries and fried rice. For the budget-conscious, they offer weekly deals and their prices are reasonable. They have many vegan options so you can enjoy this Vietnamese food any time.

Chicken and the Wolf
I have always wanted to try authentic Nashville hot chicken but without the chicken. Now I can enjoy this regional treat guilt-free with Chicken and the Wolf’s Vegan Nashville Chicken! Located within the Mother Road Market, Chicken and the Wolf offers up some of Tulsa’s Hottest eats. Don’t sweat though, you can choose your own spice level!

The Local Bison Kitchen and Bar
Another great pick for made-from-scratch, locally sourced food and drinks. Their menu is Oklahoma-centric and they pride themselves in offering quality, delicious eats. From the starters to the entrees, this menu has something for everyone. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options are plentiful. You won’t run out of choices soon at the Local Bison Kitchen and Bar.

Big Al’s Healthy Food
A healthy dining experience where everything’s made to order. With vegetarian and vegan options for Soups, Salads, and Smoothies you’ll have a multitude of healthy delicious options to choose from. Most of the menu is vegetarian, so you’ll have to make some adjustments for vegan meals.

Bobby O’s
I LOVE Pizza. I mean it. If there’s a vegan pizza option in town I’m there! Not only does Bobby O’s serve up delicious pizza, but they also have an entire menu dedicated to just vegan food! I’ve never been so happy to spend $20 on a pizza in my whole life. Or you can order by the slice for just $3.50 apiece!
They even strive to make options gluten-free pizza and soy-free pizza to meet dietary needs. A true vegan-friendly restaurant in Tulsa. You can’t beat that!
Oh wait there’s more…they are even environmentally conscious. They limit single-use plastics and even compost any vegetable scraps or leftovers. Win. Win. Win. If you’re traveling you’ll find this vegan-friendly joint right on Route 66!

Bolicious
A ‘build your own bowl’ establishment, this restaurant offers quick-casual dining made to order. They have rice bowls, salad bowls, and even burrito bowls. Make your own or try one of their signature bowls.
While the menu doesn’t have any specifically vegan items, you can customize your bowl to be vegetarian or vegan. They are also involved in the sustainable food movement by using environmentally friendly food sourcing.

Cumin Flavor of India
Indian food is my version of comfort food. I love all the Indian spices and flavors! Cumin Flavor of India is not just an Indian restaurant, they’re a truly vegan-friendly lunch or dinner spot. With a menu that clearly identifies which dishes are vegan, they take the guesswork out of ordering. From their vegetable samosas (swoon!) to their Bhindi Masala there is something delicious for every course.

Jin Ya Ramen Bar
Not only does this restaurant offer vegan ramen, but you can also get vegan rice bowls and tacos. They even have a vegan option on their kids menu! Located in the beautiful Blue Dome District they have a lovely restaurant and even have limited outdoor seating. Look no further for a great Japanese treat!

Laffa
Laffa is an upscale Mediterranean oasis. A beautiful atmosphere and charming patio lend to relaxing vegan Israeli dining. They have a whole section of their menu dedicated to Vegetarian and Vegan items. They’ve even got a Meatless Monday menu if you want to dine with fellow vegans or just to try something new! You can walk-in or make a reservation. They even have take-out options available. And don’t forget to grab some vegan chocolate ice cream for dessert!

Shawkat’s Mediterranean
This Mediterranean treat offers up a section of the menu just for vegetarians, but we all know how well Lebanese food can be made vegan! There is a special place in my heart for Lebanese cuisine so I had to put this great spot on my list of the best vegan-friendly restaurants in Tulsa! A great place for a healthy, made-from-scratch meal.

Nom and Spice
Not your traditional restaurant but this Food Trailer just had to make this list! They are currently stopped at the 473, a local bar and art gallery in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood of Tulsa. They are committed to serving up good and good for you, plant-based meals. Go see them and catch the local art show while you’re there. Food service starts at 5 pm. Big Baby Rolls and Donuts
I am always thrilled when I discover a good vegan bakery! Big Baby Rolls and Donuts is a new take on the old-fashioned donut shop offering a wide variety of regular donuts, vegan donuts, and even gluten-free donuts and savory rolls!
Their sample menu boasts some inspiring treats such as their vegan churro donut or their chocolate and marshmallow long johns. They have new items all the time and I can’t wait to try them all! As a vegan home baker myself Big Baby Rolls and Donuts is an inspiration to me.

Que Gusto
A South American gourmet eatery specializing in house-made Ecuadorian food. With an all-day menu, you can come to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, desserts, or just a light snack. Just looking at the menu options makes my mouth water. Vegan empanadas for everyone! Located right in downtown Tulsa you should definitely go check them out!
