The Best Vegan Restaurants & Vegetarian Restaurants in Edmond, Ok

Panang 5
One of my favorite spots to dine in Edmond is Panang 5 Thai Food. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and their food is delicious. I highly recommend the Eggplant Stir Fry with Tofu. And I never go without starting my meal with the fresh veggie spring rolls! They are so refreshing!

Sunnyside Diner
This restaurant has a wonderful breakfast and lunch menu serving a whole section of just plant-based options. Many of the other dishes can be made plant-based with substitutions. (They even have branches in Oklahoma City). Really great tasting food with a fun atmosphere. Come sit on the patio all year round with their outdoor heaters!

Simply Falafel
Simply Falafel offers up great Mediterranean food and has a plethora of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. Come for the falafel, stay for the baha ganoush! I know I can’t get enough authentic Mediterranean food, so if you want a real treat, check out Simply Falafel.

Cafe 501
I love Cafe 501! It’s such a cute little eatery with a high-class feel. Come enjoy some of their vegetarian options on their lighter fare menu. While there aren’t vegan options on the menu, you could request some of the vegetarian options to be made vegan. A great spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch with a mimosa or a nice glass of wine.

Moni’s Pizza
I’m always excited to find Italian food with vegan options! Moni’s Pizza has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan menu items for pizza and pasta. Moni’s is described as “passionate Italian food” and I think that’s appropriate. They have a full bar, patio seating, and a romantic atmosphere. Come enjoy some vegan pizza or vegan pasta at this great Edmond location.

Thai Delight
Another great restaurant if you are a fellow Thai food lover! They actually now have two Edmond locations so you can get great food right off I-35 or Broadway Extension. Thai Delight offers up some of the best authentic vegan Thai and Japanese cuisines I’ve had yet.
Their menu is packed full of vegetarian and vegan options. I enjoy their noodle and curry dishes the most. They even have vegetarian sushi! The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent, what more can I say?

Pho Bulous
I consider Pho to be one of my comfort foods. A big bowl of hot broth and delicious vegetables, how great does that sound?! Make your favorite dish vegan by choosing the tofu and vegetable options. Come try one of their Pho bowls or a Vietnamese stir fry with vegetables.

Inspirations Tea Room
This is a charming little spot for brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea! There are vegetarian and gluten-free dishes on the menu. It might be more challenging to find a vegan option unless you want to customize a dish.
I go for the great atmosphere and the adorable decorations. Their tea is outstanding as well. If you’re in the mood for a lovely time I’d go check out Inspirations Tea Room.

Ted’s Cafe Escondido
Ted’s is my family’s absolute favorite Mexican restaurant so of course, it’s going to make the list! They are great about having vegetarian options and meals can be altered to make vegan by requesting they leave off the cheese and sour cream.
The guacamole here is amazing and their veggie wraps are delicious. They have 2 locations in Edmond and more in OKC so you’re never too far from great Mexican food!

Hidalgo’s
Another great Mexican food fine is Hidalgo’s in Edmond. They have a variety of vegetarian options and even have an entire section of the menu dedicated to low-carb and vegan food. With ingredients such as grilled onion, steamed corn, and fresh jalapenos who could resist such a refreshing meal?

Mt. Everest
If you like Indian food this is the place to go in Edmond! Mt Everest has everything from Aloo Gobi to Chana Masala. They have separate vegetarian and vegan menus so you know exactly what you’re ordering. This small restaurant is located right in the Shoppes near the University of Central Oklahoma. They also do pick up or delivery.

Los Archos
I go to Los Archos for the Margarita’s, but I can’t leave without filling up on delicious Mexican food. The menu has a lot of vegetarian options some of which can be made vegan if you request no cheese or sour cream.
Great chips, spicy salsa, and a cold margarita, I’m missing their patio already! Check out one of their two Edmond locations for a great vegetarian and vegan-friendly meal.

Fuzzy Taco
Located in Spring Creek Plaza, the Fuzzy Taco is a hit in Edmond, OK. I can not tell you how many people have asked me ‘Have you tried Fuzzy’s yet?’ And with so many vegetarian options to choose from, they are right in their recommendation! No vegan options on the menu yet, but you can request that vegetarian dishes be made without cheese or sour cream.

The Hive Eatery
You know I love me some breakfast food! If you’re into breakfast or lunch, The Hive Eatery is a great spot. They have vegetarian breakfasts and even have a vegan burger option. Located in the Shoppes near the University of Central Oklahoma this adorable spot is a great place to grab some grub.

The Baked Bear
I am always excited when I find vegan desserts! At the Baked Bear, they great ice cream cookie sandwiches and they even have a vegan chocolate chip cookie to pair with their vegan chocolate chip ice cream! No new vegan ice cream on the menu yet, but their flavors change frequently so you may be surprised!
Being a vegan home baker I’m always excited to try vegan cookies. If you like the vegan chocolate chip cookies from The Baked Bear you might enjoy making some of the delicious vegan cookies from Vegan Baking at Home. The Vegan Thin Mints and Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie are my personal favorites!

Oak City Pizza
Located in downtown Edmond at the Edmond Railyard, Oak City Pizza offers up great vegetarian pizzas and even has a vegan cheese option. Now you don’t have to miss out on authentic Italian pizza, just ask for the vegan cheese! While you’re there check out all the fun shops located in Edmond Railyard. It’s a great place for a fun afternoon or evening with friends and family.

Tamashii Ramen
Any Japanese cuisine fans out there? I love Japanese food. Tamashii Ramen has a vegan ramen option! I recommend requesting an extra spicy version, but that’s just a personal preference. Tamashii is in a great location too. You can enjoy a warming bowl of ramen then walk down the street to the UCO Jazz Lab and listen to some great music. I can’t think of a more enjoyable date night.

Wich Pho
If you like Pho as much as my husband does, you should go to Wich Pho. They have a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. They even have a vegan pho! If you’re not in the mood for a delicious bowl of warming Pho, try one of their rice or noodle dishes, all of which can be made vegetarian or vegan with vegetables and tofu. I’m still working my way through their menu, but I have my eye on the tofu banh mi next!

Taziki’s Mediteranian Cafe
Aside from the great Mediterranean-inspired food I absolutely love Taziki’s menu and website. It has clearly marked which dishes are vegan or can be made vegan and they even have a ‘carb guide’ for those trying to eat fewer carbs.
The website gives you the option to choose which ingredients you’re trying to avoid (meat, dairy, etc) and shows you which menu items you can order. What a great way to be vegetarian and vegan-friendly?! I mean, how cool is that? They have a great location in Spring Creek Village in Edmond and even two in Tulsa, OK.

Taqueria El Camino
Vegan tacos? Yes, please! Another great find located in the Downtown Edmond Railyard is Taqueria El Camino – “The Way of the Taco.” This is a great vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurant. And with such affordable prices, you can mix and match your tacos or get one of each! Try the mushroom taco or vegan chorizo taco. They also have vegetarian and vegan burritos. Pass the hot sauce, please!

Bondi Bowls
Bondi Bowls is a vegan food truck specializing in smoothie bowls! They have acai and pitaya (dragon fruit) bowls. You can choose one off the menu or add your own toppings. Ingredients are advertised as healthy and organic vegan options. If you’re into smoothies and superfoods, then be on the lookout for this food truck in Edmond.
