About Donna’s Malt Shop
What you need to know about Donna’s Malt Shop.
Introduction
Donna’s Malt Shop is a vintage malt-shop-style hamburger restaurant in Braggs, Oklahoma.
Since it’s the nearest restaurant to Greenleaf State Park and is close to Camp Gruber, it is frequented by both locals and visitors to the area.

Location
The restaurant is located on OK-10. The exact address is 210 Madison St, Braggs, OK 74423.
You can dine in like we did, but they have a takeaway window if you’re in a hurry.
Menu

The menu is full of basics like hamburgers, french fries, chicken strips, burritos, and grilled cheese sandwiches. You’ll find multiple options for sides including french fries, fried okra, and tater tots.
There are options for cold desserts, as the name suggests. You can get malts, shakes, and ice cream.
Dietary Restrictions
The menu is not marked with allergens or dietary styles. This is most likely a difficult place for people with dietary restrictions.
Vegetarians will probably be able to find something to eat, though I did not inquire if the grill is used for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. (My guess is that it is used for both, but you should ask).
Vegans will have a harder time finding something.
If you are looking for gluten-free options or are worried about a specific food allergy, you need to ask the restaurant or call ahead.
Donna’s Malt House Review
Here’s a review of our meal at Donna’s Malt Shop.
Seating & Experience
The dining room is unassuming and basic, with lots of local clippings and photos on the walls. I loved the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that you feel hasn’t changed in twenty years and won’t change for another twenty.

What We Ate + Drank
We ordered a cheeseburger, a hamburger, a grilled cheese sandwich, and french fries.
The burgers were reminiscent of Braum’s in style and taste. We chased them down with sodas.

What It Cost
We spent about $23 for two adults and a toddler. We could have spent less because we really didn’t need one basket of fries per person!

The Verdict: Should You Eat at Donna’s Malt Shop?
We liked our experience. It truly is a hole-in-the-wall with no-nonsense vibes. If you need to grab a bite to eat while you’re in town visiting Greenleaf State Park of Camp Gruber, hit them up!
